Soul of Anesidora

These Mythical Creatures are well known to the inhabitants of Goth Airtha, especially if you have been gifted with magic.  They are an evil pack destined to kill and steal the magic of the world.  They were once peaceful and tame creatures that became enthralled with magic and what it could do for them. Chupovanas are incredibly fast and unique to themselves. They are distinguishable by having one set of large horns with a third smaller horn that grows according to the amount of magic they have stolen.

Kee-Faux is an antlered deer that is proficient at killing others. He moves as fast as any other creature who has ever lived. He stands nearly ten feet tall, with long dangling arms, and he can fight and attack on his back two legs. Black fur covers its entire body. For even faster speed during far travels, the creature runs on all four legs. Kee-Faux is second in command.

He has fanged teeth like that of a shark, with two or three rows. His head resembles that of a deer. The creature can detect movement but appears blind; his eyes are fully white without a pupil. He has one set of large deer antlers and a smaller single antler between the two.

Legend states that this creature can shapeshift after it has engulfed a measure of magic, likely from two or more victims. More advanced than the others in the pack, Kee-Faux can communicate with words. He is immune to magic from Fear, Earth, and Water, but the other types of magic are chiefly ineffective.

Taraqeu is a female feline beast that is impressive to behold. She is bigger than a lion, with an enormous head of jagged teeth. Her horns are thick, mostly smooth, and curve back towards her tail. There are dozens of tiny, sharp, thornlike pieces spread out on her horns. It would be impossible to sit on her back and grasp her horns.

Taraque has a massive chest and a long torso. Her four legs allow for quick movement, but the most impressive part is that she can climb most anything. She dives and lunges at her prey. Her fur is brown and gray and longer, like that of a raccoon.

Taraqeu stalks with silence, stealth, and speed. She will sink in her teeth and never let go. She has flawless balance thanks to a long tail with spikes that release like a porcupine’s. The tail whips back and forth and can be used to injure, damage, and confuse her prey. Taraqeu has a fear of Water but is completely immune to Wind. She does well against magic involving Fire, Ice, and Confusion.

Dalkiate is the most elusive of the three known Chupovanas. It has thick horns with a large diameter. Each horn divides and wraps around the upper and lower portion of its head. This gives the appearance of four sharp points pointing forward. There are two that arise from above the eyes and two from below and adjacent to the chin. The lower two are farther away from the head than the upper two points.

The creature is all muscle, with two massive front legs and four back legs. The back legs are unique, as there is an outer leg and an inner leg, and the outer leg is three times as large as the inner leg. This creature tends to run you over before doing anything else. It has surprising speed for its size but is substantially slower than Kee-Faux and Taraqeu, but it generates far more power.

Dalkiate is not subtle, and his skin is almost impenetrable. He is five times as large as a rhino, and the body is very much similar, though stronger and more muscular. The head is far different and resembles that of a hairless bear. Absent of sharp teeth, except the two canines. The other teeth are flat and large. The canines extend when magic is stolen. Along with stealing magic, this creature also drinks the blood of its victims. Dalkiate is immune to Fire, Wind, Water, Lightning, Fear, Confusion, and more.

Urslacisus is an interesting Chupovana as it has a hatred for the Axenkind. For years, it has patrolled the Arctic Island of Svalbard and has killed many Axen. Jet and Seyanna encounter the enormous white polar bear on their way to find the location of Ella Dastria’s exile. The creature has majestic white fur that gives off a slight glow of its own. It has a massive head with razor sharp teeth. It thirsts for magic like all the Chupovanas but it doesn’t stray far from Svalbard Island.

The creature has broad shoulders, full of muscle, with brute force strength that exceeds the typical polar bear. She has exceptional speed when running. Additionally, she can leap several feet in the air as if attacking or leaping over a crevasse. She can hold her breath underwater for several minutes and swims relatively well.  She blurs when she uses her magic and this makes her even stronger and faster. She has ice crystals on her back that make riding her by the Khalicaan nearly impossible. She has three horns, with all three white and pointing upward, the center horn is shorter than the others and it where the magic she steals is kept.

Urslacisus is immune to Water, Earth, Ice spells and more. She is affected by stunning spells, Fire, and other spells.

Zediathon or Zedia is a water Chupovana and prowls the islands of Hawaii and other locations as ordered. Zediathon is a combination of dragon, eel, and octopus with different shades of green scales. It has an enormous head that is elongated and reptilian with a dozen eyes. Zedia has a giant jaw, snout, and sharp teeth.

The body is thick and long and ends it a tail with flexible spikes. Zedia has six long tentacles design for strength in grasping and squeezing. The creature can swim at break neck speeds, but it can clamp down on its pray or snare them with the long tentacles. Only in dire circumstance can Zedia come onto land, and it would put her at greater risk if she does.

Zedia always has a Khalicaan close by who rides on its back. She is elaborately dressed with white skin and red pupils and the traditional black smudges around her eyes.

Zediathon is immune to Water, most Earth spells, Confusion, Wind. She is affected by Fire magic, stunning, and similar
